A nice macro from the Santa Cruz County Fair we went to yesterday. There were plenty of other dahlias but this was one of the best I saw. I love the graduated colors and the delicate petals opening to show their white interiors.
And I'm really quite happy with how nicely my XTi shoots flashed macros!

Expired Flower
Even in death, mother nature can make something beautiful and captivating. I came across this flower in the forest near our local dog park.
